Posted

The annual Kitty Glitter jewelry sale is this weekend at Peace Lutheran Church, 1701 E. Missouri Ave.

Thousands of pieces of glitzy jewelry and decorative treasures will be on sale to raise funds for Project Save a Kitten, helping with rescues, medical care and adoption.

The Friday pre-sale event, for which a $10 donation is requested, will be 5-8 p.m. Oct. 20 at the church.

The free Saturday event is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 21 at the church.

The curated and organized displays make shopping the extensive collection of jewelry, including rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and brooches. Whatever your style, you can find something to take home. Fine gold and silver jewelry to diamonds and rhinestone share space with vintage, contemporary and collectible jewelry.

Project Save a Kitten volunteers sponsor Kitty Glitter each year raise funds to cover rescue expenses for kittens and cats from kitten formula and medical care to transport. We also fund spays and neuters for felines. Kitty Glitter proceeds have funded Cat’s Meow Adoption and Resource Center, Action Programs for Animals, Broken Promises, Cruces Cool Cats, Spay Neuter Action Program (SNAP) and the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley.
