La Clinica de Familia opens new 10,000 square-foot facility

La Clinica de Familia (LCdF) has announced the opening of a new, 10,000 square foot behavioral-health complex at 535 S. Miranda St. in Las Cruces.

The complex is within walking distance of LCdF’s central medical center at 575 S. Alameda Blvd.

“This allows a holistic-care approach to new and existing patients by continuing to provide medical, dental and quality mental health services they deserve,” said Jose Valdiviezo, LCdF’s senior clinical director for behavioral health services. “For patients with limited transportation, our facility is approximately 300 feet away from the City of Las Cruces RoadRunner transit station, allowing great access.”

Valdiviezo said the new facility opened Monday, Jan. 25, with operational hours Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

“Preparation has been made with our existing patients to transition all their needs to our new facility and continue to provide individuals in our community and state with mental health treatment,” he said.

Core services to be provided at the new complex include adult outpatient therapy, crisis-intervention services, comprehensive medication management, comprehensive community support and supportive housing, he said.
