The NMSU University Art Museum (UAM) had a large turnout for the Oct. 20 opening of its "Celia Álvarez Muñoz: Breaking the Binding" exhibit Oct. 20 at Devasthali Hall. It included Álvarez Muñoz signing copies of her book, “Celia Álvarez Muñoz: Breaking the Binding,” and kicked off a series of events at the museum that will include bookmaking workshops on Saturdays, Nov. 18 and Dec. 2.

The exhibit continues through March 2, 2024. The gallery is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. UAM is located in Devasthali Hall, 1308 E. University Ave., at the intersection of University and Solano Drive. Visit uam.nmsu.edu.
