Little information was available as police said they were investigating the death of a one-month-old infant.
The Las Cruces Police Department confirmed the investigation and said they were dispatched to the 1000 block of Poplar Avenue at about 10 a.m. Friday following a report of an unresponsive infant.
No details about the circumstances of the death were provided.
“Further details will be released as they become available,” police said.
