A laundromat on Spruce Avenue caught fire Jan. 27, but did not lead to injuries, according to a news release.
Firefighters said they were dispatched to Spruce Laundry on Spruce Avenue near the Solano Avenue intersection around 5:20 a.m. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke inside but quickly located the fire and extinguished it within about 25 minutes, the news release said.
“The fire was contained to the laundromat and did not extend to the attached properties. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and damage estimates have yet to be determined,” the news release said.
