New Horizons Symphony returns with free Nov. 7 concert at NMSU

The New Horizons Symphony (NHS) of Las Cruces will present a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, in Atkinson Recital Hall, New Mexico State University Music Building, 1075 N. Horseshoe St. on the New Mexico State University campus.

NHS Music Director and Conductor Jorge Martinez-Rios will lead the group in the performance of Rossini’s “Barber of Seville Overture,” “Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet” with soloist John Pleasant of Las Cruces and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 2.”

Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. Masks are required.

NHS’ 2021-22 season will also include concerts on Feb. 20 and May 22, 2022.
