NMSU welcomes students back with Crimson Kickoff events

New Mexico State University will welcome students back to campus with Crimson Kickoff events leading up to the start of the fall semester. The first day of classes will be Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Crimson Kickoff, NMSU’s annual welcome week, will feature activities to help students connect with campus life, meet peers and celebrate the start of a new academic year. Events include residence hall move-in, athletic matchups, social gatherings and the first-year walk tradition.

Friday, Aug. 15

  • Move-in weekend starts, according to each student’s assigned timeslot and residence hall

Saturday, Aug. 16

  • Aggie volleyball: Crimson and White Scrimmage from 1 to 2 p.m. at Pan American Center
  • Move-in movie night from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at Corbett Center Outdoor Stage

  • First day of classes
