The budget document was evaluated by a panel of independent reviewers and recognized for meeting the program's high standards for governmental budgeting. The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting, and its attainment represents a significant achievement by the City and its Financial Services Department.
The City of Las Cruces has received 28 GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards, reflecting its ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in governmental budgeting.
