Welcome to our new web site!

From the beginning, Project Jupiter has been shrouded in secrecy. As out-of-town consultants were paid to sell the project to our county in September 2025, they denied us many crucial answers: How much pollution would the project cause? How much water would the project use? And most importantly, who was ultimately behind the project?
The obfuscation surrounding the project soon became ever more sinister. The consultants told us that we were one of three potential project locations, and nothing was guaranteed, yet Oracle began clearing the site almost immediately after the Dona Ana County Commission took its September vote to approve the project.
The commission took a closed-door vote in September that likely violated the Open Meetings Act. And the commission even voted to approve the project with incomplete project information, trusting the mystery mega-corporation and its assurances that Dona Ana County would see some kind of money.
Perhaps the most egregious obfuscation yet is that of the so-called “microgrids.” Let’s call it what it is: one large megagrid. Current estimates show that the megagrid will deliver more pollution than the entirety of El Paso. This megagrid will produce pollution that will affect our lungs, our skylines, and our homes, with no promise of renewable and non-polluting energy sources on the horizon.
Just over six months since Project Jupiter bulldozed its way into our community (literally), Oracle and its consultants have already played many tricks on our home. The county needs to lead with truth, not tricks.
To the Dona Ana County Commission: the people of Dona Ana County demand a public meeting where we can get real answers and clarity on this project. Please, we beg of you: shine a light on the shady dealings of the project.
To the people of the county: keep showing up to county commission meetings and demand answers from those who are responsible for greenlighting this project.
To Oracle: don’t pick a fight with us. Because we won’t back down.
