More than 400 kids from throughout Dona Ana County and 200-plus volunteers from law enforcement and various organizations participated in the Cops and Kids shopping experience the morning of Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Walmart on Rinconada Boulevard.
The event is sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 8, in partnership with the Las Cruces Public Schools’ Title 1 Part C program and Walmart. All area Walmart stores helped make this experience possible.
