Timothy Joseph Hourigan passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, in Las Cruces, NM, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Pampa, Texas, Tim dedicated 26 years of service to the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in Military Intelligence. He earned degrees from the University of Texas at El Paso and Florida International University and later had a successful career as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and Apogee.

A passionate outdoorsman, Tim ran marathons, competed in Ironman events, and enjoyed cycling, bow hunting, and traveling. He was also an accomplished musician, playing with the Hooligans and sharing his love of Irish music and culture with friends and family. He was a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a certified soccer referee.

Above all, Tim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife Donna; sons Trevor (Darla) and Robert (Faith); grandson Casey; brother Stephen (Jackie); and extended family and friends. He was deeply proud of his sons and the family he built.
