A train derailment near Vado, N.M., on Nov. 11 caused some traffic disruption but did not result in any injuries, according to a BNSF Railway spokesperson.
The derailment occurred at around 4 p.m. on Monday, closing New Mexico Highways 189 and 478 for about five hours.
“This is not affecting our main track. No injuries reported. Cause is under investigation,” the BNSF spokesperson said.
