LETTER TO THE EDITOR

We are here to help

Posted

Dear editor,

With the unfortunate closing of the Crisis Triage Center in Doña Ana County, we would like to reassure the community that services are available for those experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.

Mesilla Valley Hospital has served Las Cruces and Doña Ana County for over 35 years, providing 24-hour access to services for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorder symptoms. Our assessment and referral center is open 24/7 to serve our community. We accept walk-ins, ER referrals and all other referrals from community agencies including first responders, police, friends or family. Our inpatient program serves individuals from ages 7 and up.

MVH is a local and trusted provider and we place patient care as our #1 priority. As we navigate together as a community during this time, we understand there are many mental health crisis situations that happen in our county and want you to know you don’t have to go far for treatment. We are located at 3751 Del Rey Blvd in Las Cruces. We look forward to serving our community as a preferred choice for Mental Health treatment.
