Western Sky provides care packages for students

Posted

Western Sky Community Care, a coordinated healthcare provider, is collaborating with Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS) to support students in need, as it delivered care packages Oct. 9 to support students who are struggling with homelessness, LCPS said in a news release. More than 100 care packages were delivered to the Dr. Karen M. Trujillo Administration Complex, 505 S. Main St., including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste and other personal hygiene items. The care packages will be distributed district-wide to LCPS students in need, the news release said. Each year, Western Sky Community Care collaborates with the district to provide support for LCPS students and their families.
