Fall into community

To Our Wonderful Community,

There is so much to love about Southern New Mexico. The people, the local businesses, the organizations, and the generosity all make this such a special place to call home. This fall, we’re bringing our community together to celebrate all of it at Fall Into Community!

At the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, we have the honor of seeing that generosity in action every day. We see it through donors who give with purpose, organizations that serve their communities with heart, businesses that step up to help, and students who are working toward brighter futures.

That’s why we’re inviting you to join us this fall for Fall Into Community, an evening dedicated to celebrating the people, places, and generosity that make Southern New Mexico such a wonderful place to call home.

Please join us on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 4-8 p.m. at the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, 2640 El Paseo Rd. in Las Cruces.

The evening will feature live music by Proud Pete, delicious food from Yalla Falafel and other local vendors, seasonal games for all ages, a live auction, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors. Our online silent auction will also run from Oct. 9–17, so you can participate even before the celebration begins.

But most importantly, we hope you’ll come because your presence makes a difference.

Every ticket, sponsorship, and donation helps the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico continue our work to serve, connect, support, and sustain communities throughout our region. In 2025 alone, CFSNM awarded more than $2 million in grants to nonprofit organizations and provided scholarships to 411 students across Southern New Mexico.

Behind those numbers are real people and real stories: nonprofit organizations able to expand their services, students given the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams, and communities strengthened.

Fall Into Community is an opportunity to celebrate those stories, and to look ahead to what we can accomplish together.

Come spend an evening with us! Enjoy some great food and music, play a few games, meet someone new, and celebrate all the reasons we love Southern New Mexico. Most of all, know that by being there, you’re helping create opportunities and strengthen the communities we all call home.
